It turns really fast out of the box, but it's easy to overturn. It was also really tight, and the corner cutting wasn't good. The tensioning also wasn't even in my opinion. The cube was much better after evening the tension and loosening by a couple quarter-turns. Color recognition might be difficult depending on the lighting. I recommend using a small flathead screwdriver to take off the center caps if you want to lube the springs, but it's a little tricky to do so. For a non-magnetic cube, it does feel really nice to turn, but I wish it had magnets for alignment and stability.
